High pressure hose and flexible tubes require some sort of reinforcement to protect them from bursting or breaking. Generally annealed steel wire, high carbon steel wire or stainless steel wire is braided on the hoses. To braid the high pressure hose pipe and flexible pipe with the aforesaid wires, wire braiding machines / horizontal braiding machines are used.

Of course, it is possible to braid with conventional braiding machines. The conventional braiding machine is, the braid hoses / tubes get loosened or distorted and therefore uniform braids cannot be expected.

In the case of wire braiding machine / horizontal braiding machine, the braided hose / tubes comes out straight. So the quality of pick is intact, and there no distortion of picks, and hence quality of hose or tube is superb.

    1. Automobile Muffler : This muffler is fixed between engine and exhaust pipe to with stand impacts from outside and is a preventive measure from breaking.
    2. Expansion Joint : Fitted on air / fluid pipe line in order to distribute the strees released in an even manner and absorf the expansion (compression) of pipe line.
    3. Flexible Joint : When high pressure steam or various kinds of fluid pressurized through a pipe, vibration takes place. Wire braiding prevents this vibration.
